The latest and greatest in the world of mobile devices. This top-of-the-line smartphone features a high-definition camera with low-light technology, a more powerful antenna, and games you can play while resting to keep yourself sharp.

This device operates with weak signal as though it were normal service.

Security: This phone has advanced fingerprint and face ID security, and can be wiped remotely by its owner if they discover it has been stolen (Crack DR 25.)

The advanced smartphone camera takes photos clear enough to recognize faces up to 30 feet away, and writing up to 12 feet away. These distances are not affected by dim light, but in darkness you must use the flash or nothing will be recognizeable.

Record a Video

You record a video of something in your environment. You choose whether or not to use the camera light.

Sound is captured on the video as the person recording heard it. The video can be any length as long as your battery lasts.

You record audio from your environment. The sound will be recorded as a person would have heard it at that location. You can begin a recording and then put your phone away or leave it hidden somewhere, and return to it later. The recording can be as long as you have the battery power for.

Research Online

You spend at least 5 minutes researching a topic online via smartphone or computer to gather information. Make a Research (Technology) check. The difficulty of each piece of information is set by the GM. Any information you find may be saved to your phone so you don't have to look it up again later.

Success: You find some useful information on what you're looking for.
Failure: You can't find anything relevant.
Critical Failure: You find information that is inaccurate.

Flashlight

Your phone's built-in LED produces dim light up to 10 feet ahead. You move while holding it out.

Group Video Call

You start or join a group call with anyone in your contacts list. You choose whether to use video, or audio only. Up to 10 people may join the call at once.

Service: Full

Discharge: 4% per minute

All participants must be using Advanced Smartphones or computers in order to join the call.

Play Game

You spend one hour playing a video game on your advanced smartphone or computer during a rest. Doing well in the game gives you a temporary boost to your coordination and mental ability. Make a difficulty15 Gaming (Technology) check.

Service: Full

Discharge: 25% per hour

Success: You gain Rested 1. You can benefit from this effect only once per day.
Critical Success: You gain Rested 2.
Failure: You don't gain any benefits.
Critical Failure: You become frustrated and can't sleep for the next three hours.
