Yellow Polar Lichen

The Polar Lichens are a genus of recently-discovered, cave-dwelling fungi found exclusively in Antarctica. They have been found in five different colors, and appear to have been native to the region during ancient Ætherian times.

The yellow variety is one of the rarer species. It is most abundant in the rocky moors of north-central Ætheria. It can be used in alchemy to create potions that deal with the body's immune system and resistance to disease.
