You interact with items in your Dimensional Inventory - a hidden inventory in another dimension of space. You either store the item in your hand in your dimensional inventory, or retrieve an item from it which appears in your empty hand, or exchange the item you're holding with another from your dimensional inventory.
You must be holding the object to target it. Your dimensional inventory can't be accessed by any other creature. It can hold up to 3 items, of total weight 1.

Items in your dimensional inventory don't count against your carry weight and can remain there indefinitely until you retrieve them via another casting of this spell.
Other creatures can't access or see the contents of this inventory. They can't tell if you have used such a storage method unless they read your thoughts or use mind control on you.
The only way for other creatures to take items from your dimensional inventory is by forcing you to retrieve them by means such as mind control, or a Shape Existence spell. No other spell can access another creature's dimensional inventory.
