You improvise a spell on the spot to accomplish a certain task. Cast this cantrip during any spell cast.
Describe to the GM the expected effects of the spell. The GM determines the type of magic the spell will use, the energy consumed, and all other properties. This is equivalent to using Spellcraft but through improvisation. You gain a +10 magic bonus to craft this effect into a spell within the next 24 hours.

You don't learn a new spell using Thaumaturgy, and any effect you create must be improvised again.
The time you spend on the cantrip can determine the possibility or strength of the effect at the GM's discretion. For example, if you use Thaumaturgy on a 2-frame spell, you may only achieve a weaker form of the desired effect than if you spent 5 minutes or longer on it.
