Advanced Magic is a term for branches of magic beyond spellcasting and the typical six forms of magic. These abilities are usually only available to certain classes and are unlocked as part of progression.
A Channeling Power is an ability of some magic users to summon simple magical effects without actually having cast a spell, though they still consume energy. It is most common in Delvers. These abilities can't be taught, because not much is known about these powers or what causes them to appear.

Alchemy is the art of combining substances imbued with magical energy, usually aetherium, with other substances to produce potions. It is distinct from all other branches of magic in that it does not require the user to have unlocked magical ability to perform it. As such, in cases where a person is unable to unlock their abilities after many attempts, they may become a Alchemist, a type of Curator.
Verbal Magic is the Chanter's signature ability. Users of this type of magic express ther abilities through spoken word rather than somatically (through movement.)
The signature ability of the Sage, Emotional Magic is a type of Channeling power that allows the user to express their abilities through their emotions. Users of this type of magic can impart effects on those they have a strong relationship with.

Spellcraft is the art of creating new spells and refining them over time to improve the consistency of their effects. Once a crafted spell is perfected, it's just as reliable as long-established spells.

Widely considered to be the most difficult branch of magic, Artifacting is the practice of combining multiple spells and enchantments to create magical artifacts with complex functionality. It functions in a similar way to programming computers.
