Your familiar takes the form of a bear, giving it immense size and powerful attacks.

Familiar Hit Points
Your familiar's hit point total is based on your level at which you summon it, and your own level.
All familiars are Level 3 creatures that increase in level when the Summon Familiar spell is amplified.
Your familiar gains additional hit points according to your level in the Witch table.

Bear Familiar Features
The Wolf form of a familiar has the following abilities:
- Claws: The familiar's powerful claw attack deals 1d12 Slashing damage. The damage increases by 5 for each degree of amplification.
- Cover: The familiar is large enough for your allies to use as cover. It can move to Protect Allies by making a Defense (Strength) check.
- Keen Smell: The familiar has a powerful sense of smell. It gains a bonus based on its level to Perception and Tracking checks involving smell.
- Tactile Paws: The familiar can operate simple machines, such as levers and door handles, with its paws.
Mount
At Level 9, your familiar gains the ability to act as a mount. The number and total size of creatures it can carry increases with
its summon level.
If a creature other than you mounts your familiar, you can willingly give that creature control of the familiar as an action. That creature retains control of
the familiar on its turn until they dismount.
Protective Companion
At Level 13, your familiar's loyalty grows, and it can act as a protector for you and your party.
Your familiar gains a reaction frame, and the Protect Ally action.
Elemental Familiarity
Bears are highly versatile animals, and their familiar form is able to adapt to a variety of different environments.
Starting at Level 18, whenever you summon your familiar, you can infuse it with an elemental power - Fire, Ice, Lightning, or Psychic.
Your familiar's regular attacks deal that type of damage, and the familiar is immune to that type of damage. This effect lasts until the next time your
familiar is summoned.
Furious Beast
At Level 23, your familiar gains the ability to enter Rage. You can have your familiar activate Rage as an action during combat, or as a reaction
whenever you or an ally take damage from an enemy attack. Your familiar's Rage lasts until the end of the current combat and cannot be ended early.
While Raging, a creature gains the following effects:
- Speed is increased by 4 feet.
- Any attacks or damaging spells that use your Strength deal +1d damage.
Add to the roll one additional die of the same size the damage roll would use normally.)
- Any attempt to staggering an enraged target automatically fails.
- Disadvantage on all mental ability checks (Anything using Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.)
- Passive perception is reduced by 4.
Bear Archetype Feats
Items with the ⬆ Upgrade symbol can be purchased any number of times.
Items with multiple tiers must be purchased in order (starting with tier 1.)
Frightening Growl

Your familiar gains a Growl action that frightens enemies. It gains the Intimidation skill with a value of 2.
Multiple Mount

Your familiar can carry one additional creature as a mount.
Ferocious Claws

Your familiar can make two Claw Attacks in a single frame. The attack is exempt from the repetition tax.
