Ver. 1.3.1

Encounter

The Encounter Phase is a game phase that occurs during a fast-paced, time-sensitive event. The GM activates this phase whenever they desire more accurate tracking of player movement and action frames during a scenario where there isn't a hostile enemy.

During the encounter phase, the game follows the same rules as combat even though there aren't any hostile creatures. Participants roll initiative and take turns performing actions. At the end of each round, the GM describes any events that take place in the environment before the next round begins.

The encounter phase ends once the time-sensitive event has ended or the party is no longer in danger. If a hostile enemy appears, the phase may change seamlessly to combat. In this scenario the party keeps the current initiative order and enemies roll into the encounter.
