Your Endurance save is one of three save skills, using your Strength and Constitution modifiers. It measures your body's ability to withstand physical attacks, both internally and externally. This could be holding back a heavy object to protect your allies, or resisting the effects of a poison or disease.
Your body attempts to resist being infected by a pathogen you've been exposed to. Make a Resist Disease (Endurance) save against the Infection Factor of the disease.
Success: | You gain immunity to the disease for one day. |
Critical Success: | You gain immunity to the disease for one week. |
Failure: | You become infected. The GM rolls for Onset Time, after which you begin to be affected by the disease. |
You try to stay focused on a long action while being physically interrupted. Make a Concentrate (Endurance) save against the outcome of the check that called for a save. If this doesn't apply, then the GM sets the difficulty.
Success: | You stay focused and continue the action. |
Critical Success: | You stay focused and automatically succeed on any further Concentrate (Physical) saves for this action. |
Failure: | Your concentration is broken. You fail the action, but you regain any frames that hadn't yet passed at the time you were interrupted. |
You hold your breath while swimming underwater or in a toxic environment.
The first time you make this save since entering the environment, the difficulty is 10. For each subsequent check, the difficulty increases by 1. This counter is reset when you leave the area.
Success: | You continue holding your breath. |
Critical Success: | You hold your breath and don't need to make any more Hold Breath saves for the next 3 minutes. |
Failure: | You take 2d6 Suffocation damage, and automatically fail all future Hold Breath saves until you leave the area. |
