Grand Master

Some characters have an unparalleled level of talent in a particular skill that exceeds even that of skill level 10. A true Grand Master of a skill is incredibly rare.

To become a grand master, a character must be a natural at the chosen skill, and master their craft by advancing to skill level 10. The Grand Master feat can then be taken to advance to Grand Master rank, represented by the letter "G" on your character sheet.

No matter what abilities or feats a character has, they can only ever become a grand master of one martial, knowledge, or magic skill. If any feat or class ability would make a character a grand master of a second skill, it increases their skill level to 10 instead.

A grand master's skill modifier is equal to their current overall level plus the relevant ability score and any bonuses.
