Hawk

Witch Archetype

Your familiar takes the form of a hawk, eagle, or falcon, giving it fast flight and a powerful talon attack.

Familiar Hit Points

Your familiar's hit point total is based on your level at which you summon it, and your own level. All familiars are Level 3 creatures that increase in level when the Summon Familiar spell is amplified. Your familiar gains additional hit points according to your level in the Witch table.

Hawk Familiar Features

The Snake form of a familiar has the following abilities:

Flight: The familiar has a Fly speed of 12 feet per frame.
Dive: The familiar can Sprint while flying to increase its speed to 24 feet per frame.
Eagle Eyes: The familiar has advantage on Perception to spot moving objects while in flight.
Talons: The familiar has a talon attack that deals 1d10 piercing damage. This damage increases with the familiar's summon level.
Carrying: The familiar can carry one item up to 1 weight in its talons. It can't use its Talon attack while doing so, and its Fly speed is reduced by 4.

Diving Attack

At Level 9, your familiar gains a powerful diving talon attack. Whenever it strikes a target with its talons while Diving, it deals +1d damage and the target has disadvantage on any reactions to the attack.

Intimidating Screech

Starting at Level 13, your familiar can use its loud screeching call to frighten enemies. It gains the Intimidation skill with a level of 2, and the Frighten action.

Fast Flight

At Level 18, your familiar's base Fly speed increases to 18 feet per frame, and its speed while diving increases to 36 feet per frame.

Powerful Talons

Starting at Level 23, your familiar gains the following abilities:

Its talons can carry an item up to 3 weight. Its fly speed is unaffected by the weight of a carried item or creature.
On a diving talon attack, the target is knocked prone if its size is -1 or smaller. Otherwise, it's staggered for one frame.
The familiar can attempt called shots using its talon attack.

Items with multiple tiers must be purchased in order (starting with tier 1.)

⬆ Hunter's Gaze

Your familiar gains the Perception skill with a value of 1 if it doesn't have it. If it does, increase the skill's level by 1, to a maximum of 7.

Sharp Talons

Prerequisite: Witch Level 5

Your familiar's Talon attacks deal +1d damage.

➋ : ✪60

Prerequisite: Witch Level 15

Your familiar's Talon attacks deal a total +2d damage.

➌ : ✪75

Prerequisite: Witch Level 25

Your familiar's Talon attacks deal a total +3d damage.

Heavy Lifting

Prerequisite: Witch Level 10

Your familiar can carry an item up to 2 weight in its talons.

Deadly Screech

✪50

Prerequisite: Intimidating Screech

Your familiar's Intimidating Screech deals 1d6 Psychic damage to creatures within 10 feet.

Items with the ⬆ Upgrade symbol can be purchased any number of times.
