Your natural skills are a set of skills that you are a "natural" at, meaning you have a special propensity to learn these skills with less effort than most would have to put in. As your character progresses, they will gain improvements to their natural skills at no extra cost.
Natural skills are represented on your character sheet by filling in the small circle in the upper left corner of the skill's name.
When creating a character at level 0, you may choose any one skill to become Natural. As you progress, your classes will typically provide rules for gaining additional natural skills that are chosen when you enter the class. Classless characters gain an additional natural skill at Level 8, and again at Level 22.
Most class tables will feature the Natural Skill Improvement benefit at multiple levels. Whenever you gain this benefit, each of your natural skills increases by 1 level.
