Path of Earth

Delver Archetype

The Path of Earth focuses on the school of Lithomancy. Your Elemental Channeling powers inflict Bludgeoning damage.

Lithomancy Affinity

Add your Affinity Modifier to Spellcasting skill checks for Lithomancy. Your Affinity modifier increases with your level according to the Delver Table.

Shake the Ground

At Level 8, your Elemental Channeling power gives you the ability to create small shockwaves in the ground. Whenever you succeed on a Tumble (Agility) check to avoid falling damage, your impact sends out a shockwave that staggers enemies within 20 feet for one frame. If you fell from a height of at least 20 feet, those creatures each make a Reflex save. On a failure, they take Bludgeoning damage equal to half the falling damage you would've taken and are knocked prone.

Wild Fury

Starting at Level 13, whenever you enter Rage, you feel a rush of unbridled magical energy. Roll a d4 on the below table to determine the effect. If the effect calls for a check or save, the difficulty is 10 plus your Affinity modifier.

d4 Effects
1 Vines shoot out from the ground and ensnare one creature of your choice that you can see. That creature's speed is reduced to zero. During that creature's turn, it may make an Escape (Agility) or Escape (Strength) check to escape the restraints.
2 A small earthquake shakes the ground. All creatures within 30 feet of you make a Reflex save to avoid being knocked prone. Your allies have advantage on the save.
3 A 6-foot deep circular hole 2 feet in diameter opens up in the ground at a location of your choice within 10 feet. A creature standing over the hole makes a Reflex save to avoid falling in.
4 Earth magic infuses your body. Until your Rage ends, you can't be staggered or knocked prone and you have advantage on Endurance saves.

Seismic Sense

You can use your attunement to the earth to sense the tiniest vibrations, allowing you to detect movement nearby without the use of sight or sound.

Starting at Level 18, you can perceive using touch any movement of a creature or object on the ground within 100 feet of you. You can't tell what the exact source of the vibrations is, but you know its precise location. This ability isn't hindered by darkness or background noise.

Destructive Force

Your Lithomancy powers allow you to smash through the toughest armor. Starting at Level 24, any damage you deal with a Lithomancy spell or your Elemental Channeling power automatically causes shields, weapons, and armor to take a durability check. If the hit was a critical hit, the check automatically fails.

Items with multiple tiers must be purchased in order (starting with tier 1.)

Hardened Weaponry

Your channeling power radiates from your body into your equipment, increasing its strength.

The durability rating of weapons and armor you use is increased by 4 while worn or equipped.

Earth Conductor

You use your connection to the earth to divert electricity around your body. You gain Shock Resistance 1.

Smash Through

Prerequisite: Delver Level 8

You may spend 20 energy to gain a +10 bonus on a check to Force Open or break down a barrier if it's made of stone or metal.

Immovable Object

✪100

Prerequisite: Delver Level 15

As a reaction, you can spend 20 energy to automatically succeed on a save against staggering, forced movement, or being knocked prone.

Vibration Sense

Prerequisite: Seismic Sense

Your Seismic Sense ability can be used to detect objects up to 300 feet away, and you can identify whether the vibrations come from a creature or another object.

Unstoppable Force

Prerequisite: Delver Level 20

While Raging, you take half damage from all sources.

(Damage is reduced by armor and resistances first, then divided by 2.)

Items with the ⬆ Upgrade symbol can be purchased any number of times.
