Path of Fire

Delver Archetype

The Path of Fire focuses on the school of Pyromancy. Your Elemental Channeling powers inflict Burning damage.

Pyromancy Affinity

Add your Affinity Modifier to Spellcasting skill checks for Pyromancy. Your Affinity modifier increases with your level according to the Delver Table.

Invigorating Heat

Starting at Level 8, your elemental strength is bolstered in the presence of natural flames. You recover 3 energy per frame while standing within 10 feet of a naturally-fueled fire 1 foot or larger in diameter that isn't obstructed.

Wild Fury

Starting at Level 13, whenever you enter Rage, you feel a rush of unbridled magical energy. Roll a d4 on the below table to determine the effect.

d4 Effects
1 A fiery explosion erupts from your body. All creatures within 6 feet of you take 1d10 Burning damage.
2 One creature of your choice you can see instantly bursts into flame and gains the Burning 3 status effect.
3 The ground around you spontaneously ignites, creating an circular area of flames 6 feet in diameter centered on your location. For three rounds, any creatures standing in the flames take 2 Burning damage per frame.
4 You feel a fiery rush of adrenaline. You gain 2 bonus action frames during your current turn (or your next turn if you entered Rage as a reaction.)

Burning Passion

Starting at Level 18, your body emits a scorching radiant glow when you're angry. While Raging, you emit bright light over a 20-foot area and creatures standing within 6 feet of you take 3 points of burning damage per frame.

Arcane Fire

At Level 24, you gain the ability to produce a strange white-hot flame through your elemental channeling that is capable of burning things a sane person would normally consider non-flammable.

Burning damage dealt by your attacks or spells ignores Resistance and Armor.

Items with the ⬆ Upgrade symbol can be purchased any number of times.

Items with multiple tiers must be purchased in order (starting with tier 1.)

Radiant Heat

Your body can exude warmth to keep yourself and others warm.

As an adventuring action, you can spend 10 energy to negate one level of extreme cold on you and other creatures within 10 feet for one hour.

Calloused Skin

Prerequisite: Delver Level 6

Your skin has developed thick callouses from handling open flames. You gain Burning Resistance 1.

Flame Thrower

Prerequisite: Delver Level 14

The Range of projectile Pyromancy spells you cast is doubled.

Cotterize Wounds

Prerequisite: Delver Level 16

You can use Pyromancy to heal minor wounds and stop bleeding.

Whenever you would deal 10 or less Burning damage to an ally, you may instead have that effect negate one level of the Bleeding status on that creature OR restore hit points equal to half the amount of the damage. (This replacement effect is not a reaction and does not take additional time.)

Feel the Heat

Prerequisite: Delver Level 20

Whenever you hit a creature that already Burning 3 or higher with a Pyromancy spell, it becomes a critical hit.

Items with the ⬆ Upgrade symbol can be purchased any number of times.
