Preoccupied

Status Effect

In combat, a combatant is preoccupied when they're in the middle of an action outside of their turn. They may be busy retrieving an item from their backpack or winding up for a powerful attack.

A preoccupied creature can't use reactions, and doesn't receive opportunity actions in situations where they normally would.
