Skill Improvement

As you journey through the world and your character gains new abilities and strengths, they will also undoubtedly hone their skills. During a long rest or any other time you could spend character points on new abilities, you may also spend points to increase your skills. The higher your skill level is in a given skill, the more character points will be required to increase it. Skill improvements are subject to the following rules:

• Skill improvements are treated the same as the unlocking of character abilities. It can be done during any long rest, and takes effect upon completion of the resting period.
• Multiple improvements to the same skill cannot be taken during the same rest, nor the next subsequent rest. In other words, once you have increased any given skill, you must wait until after your character's next long rest before increasing it again.
• All skills have a maximum level of 10.
