Spell Scripts

A Spell Script is an item that allows readers to attempt to learn a spell by reading it. The reader's mind must be in a relaxed, semi-conscious state to fully learn and commit the spell to memory.

Spell scripts typically take the form of strange, fractal-like images drawn or printed on paper, or in the case of those found in ancient ruins, carved into stone. The images and symbols depicted are Tolgethic Runes - the language or "code" of ancient magic, incomprehensible to the conscious mind. They are only able to be understood and memorized by the subconscious when the reader's mind is in a state of deep relaxation and clarity.

Each image contains one spell that can be learned. Some spells are learned as pairs. A script can be read any number of times.
