Summarized List: Weather
A thunderstorm is one of the most dangerous weather conditions to be caught in. Thunderstorms combine rain, high winds, and the deadly risk of lightning.
An approaching thunderstorm can typically be heard for 10 to 30 minutes before arriving at a given location. Characters who succeed on a DR 15 Hearing (Perception) check can hear thunderstorms approaching up to 1 hour before they arrive. The GM may call for this type of check passively, or when a character uses the Predict Weather (Instinct) action.
While outside in a thunderstorm, every few minutes the GM makes an encounter check to determine if a character might be struck by lightning. See the mRPG Game Master's Manual for more on encounters.
A character struck by lightning takes 1d100 Shock damage and is stunned.
