This section describes the passage of time in the game world. The relationship between in-game time and real-world time varies depending on which of the game phases is currently active.
The setting in which the game is taking place tracks the passage of time separately from the time in the real world. Depending on the setting, the units of time (such as the length of a day or the number of hours the day is divided into) may be different. The world may also have its own calendar system devised by the GM.
How much time passes in the game is controlled by the GM and depends on the current game phase.
Status effects and other temporary conditions may specify a duration in either rounds or minutes. An effect duration less than one minute should be counted in rounds. For longer effects, a round counts as 6 seconds regardless of the subject's turn length. 10 rounds are equal to one minute.
