Ver. 1.3.1

Trivial Actions

An action is trivial to a creature if the creature is guaranteed to succeed at it. This could be because the difficulty of the action is zero, or because the creature's modifier for the check is greater than the difficulty.

Examples of trivial actions:

Attacks and other actions taken against another creature in combat are never trivial.

Roll Anyway

Since trivial actions automatically succeed without a check being made, they eliminate the chance of critical success or failure. Optionally, players can choose to waive the trivial status of an action and roll anyway. This results in a critical failure on a roll of 1, a critical success on a roll of 20, or a success on any other result.
