Urban Explorer
Your hobbies include exploring abandoned buildings in search of hidden treasures, or just for thrills.
Getting into these sites is often perilous. You can climb at your full speed instead of half speed.
Stealthy Exploration
Urban exploration often involves getting past security and remaining unseen. At Level 12, you gain one level in the Climbing (Athletics), Stealth Actions, and Lockpicking (Sleight of Hand)
specialties.
Case the Premises
At Level 22, you can do extensive research on a location in order to gain an advantage when entering it. You can gain knowledge of a location in three ways:
- By spending at least one hour Researching the location online - make a Research (Technology) check
- By spending at least one hour Investigating the location in-person - make an Investigate (Logic) check. You must be close enough to the location to not require a Perception check to see it. If you're inside the location when you attempt this check, you have advantage.
- By gaining information from another person who has knowledge of the location - either willingly or through persuasion, deception, or intimidation
Each successful attempt at one of these checks gives you 1 level of Knowledge of that location as a skill.
You can add this knowledge as a modifier to all Perception, Stealth, Sleight of Hand, Performance, Deception, Logic, and Technology skill checks you make while at that location.
The difficulty of these checks is set by the GM based on the availability of the information in question online.
Each of the three methods can be used up to two times per location, for a maximum knowledge level of 6 on any given location.
