Verbal Magic is a special type of advanced magic that is expressed through speech in the form of Tolgethic Chants rather than physical movements. The ability to use it is an uncommon gift. It is the signature ability of the Chanter.
Below is a list of all known Chants in order of level. Every five levels, the Chanter gains access to the next category and can learn two chants at that level for free. The others may be unlocked by taking them as feats.

While active, allied creatures within range get a +1 bonus to all Spellcasting skill checks.

While active, allied creatures within range recover 1d6 hit points at the beginning of each of their turns.
Your voice sends out a powerful shockwave in all directions. Enemy creatures within 20 feet of you are staggered for one frame.
When you start this chant, choose a creature within range. That creature's speed is reduced to zero for as long as the chant is active. At the beginning of the creature's turn, it may make a difficulty 10 Determination save to move at half its speed that turn.
While active, allied creatures within range deal an extra 1d6 damage on unarmed, melee, and ranged attacks.
While active, your energy pool becomes a Dark Energy pool that can be used as a shared resource by allied creatures within range.
Enemy undead that can hear your chant become frightened of you.
Each creature affected by this chant may make a difficulty 10 Determination save at the start of their turn to ignore this effect until their next turn.

Instantaneous
Choose yourself or an allied creature in range. Each other ally, including you, may willingly move up to three times their speed towards that creature.
This movement doesn't count as an action or reaction for those creatures. The movement ends if the creature encounters an obstacle or terrain that requires a skill check. Creatures can't use this movement if they're immobilized, incapacitated, or stunned.
Instantaneous
Allied creatures within range recover 4d6 hit points.
Instantaneous
Remove one level of negative status effects on allied creatures within range (Bleeding, Blinded, Burning, Deafened, Drunk, Exhaustion, Frightened, Paralyzed, Poisoned, and Stunned.)

Instantaneous
Your voice sends out a shockwave through the ground in all directions. Enemy creatures within range take 1d6 Bludgeoning damage and are knocked prone unless they succeed on a difficulty 20 Reflex save.
While active, allied creatures within range have a +5 bonus to all saves (Endurance, Reflex, and Determination.)
When you start this chant, choose Burning, Freezing, or Shock. All melee attacks by allied creatures in range deal that type of damage instead of their normal damage.
(Enchanted weapons with Augment effects deal their extra damage followed by the altered normal damage. Weapons with enchantments that replace their normal damage are not affected by this chant.)
