The Warrior specializes in combat with heavy armor and weapons. Add your Proficiency Bonus to Two-Handed attack checks with any medium or heavy weapon, and your Proficiency Damage to damage rolls for those same weapons. Both of these values increase with your level according to the Mercenary table.
Starting at Level 8, your ability to sense when threats are nearby keeps you and your allies on guard. While adventuring, you and all companions travelling with you have advantage on Reflex saves and Instinct skill checks. In combat, you have advantage on initiative rolls.
At Level 15, your powerful attacks let you subdue enemies, making them easier targets for you and your allies. On a hit with a Power Attack, the target makes an Endurance save with a difficulty equal to your current Mercenary level. On a failed save, the target becomes disoriented and any attacks against them have advantage until their next turn.
At Level 22, you use the weight of your blade to turn your enemies' swings back on them. Whenever you successfully parry a melee attack, you may spend an additional action or reaction frame to have that attack hit the attacking creature or another creature within the attacker's reach.
Starting at Level 26, you can make Ferocious Attacks with two-handed weapons while raging. You attack viciously and recklessly, mustering all your strength into a single deadly blow.
A Ferocious Attack has disadvantage on the attack roll. On a hit, the attack becomes a critical hit. On a miss, the attack becomes a critical miss.
Items with the ⬆ Upgrade symbol can be purchased any number of times.
Items with multiple tiers must be purchased in order (starting with tier 1.)
The force of your parrying action is so great that it can disarm an attacker.
Whenever you successfully parry a melee attack with a two-handed weapon, you may attempt a Disarm (Defense) check against the attacker as a free reaction.
Prerequisite: Mercenary Level 10
You excel in the art of using your weapons to deflect attacks.
Your weapons don't take durability checks when you successfully parry with a shortsword or longsword.
Prerequisite: Mercenary Level 10
While holding a weapon in two hands, you can summon extra strength to perform a power attack in just two frames. If the attack misses, you are staggered for one frame due to the momentum of the missed swing.
Prerequisite: Mercenary Level 16
You gain the ability to have longswords function as heavy weapons while held in one-hand.
Using this ability still requires a One-Handed attack roll, but uses the action properties (damage, timing) of a two-handed attack. You may also perform power attacks with these weapons in one hand.
Prerequisite: Mercenary Level 20, +2 or larger Size
You gain the ability to dual-wield heavy weapons.
Greatswords, Battle Axes, and other heavy weapons held in one hand can perform standard heavy attacks.
Items with the ⬆ Upgrade symbol can be purchased any number of times.
